Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a common disorder that can be characterised by motor symptoms, such as tremor and rigidity, but also by elevated electrical oscillatory activity in the beta frequency band. Eszter will talk about how these activities can be used to connect brain-computer interfaces with deep brain stimulation in order to deliver more effective therapeutic strategies in the treatment of PD. |
