Welcome Back Movie Night

Valami Amerika

In light of ongoing restrictions, we will kick off this term by watching ‘Valami Amerika’, an extremely well-known Hungarian comedy film, which follows the lives of three brothers; Tamás, a director, Ákos, a manager, and András, a poet. Come join us for this film to start Trinity off with a few laughs and bright mood!

Oxford Picnic

Are you in Oxford and already finished self-isolating? Come and join us in our first in-person event of the term in the form of a picnic at University Parks! Registration for the event will be mandatory to help us ensure the safety of the participants.

Do you pride yourself in your trivia knowledge? Or are you just looking for a fun time? In either case this event is for you! Test your knowledge in the widely popular Hungarian trivia game 'Honfoglaló' and see if you have what it takes to become the first Hungarian Society Honfoglaló Champion.

Poem Swap

Although the Day of Hungarian Poetry already passed, we invite you to join us for a late poetry exchange! Share and celebrate your favorite work, whether Hungarian or English, with someone else and be prepared to receive a poem in your inbox, too. It’s a great way to feel connected while we still cannot socialize as we normally would. Fill in the form which will be circulating with the weekly emails to participate in this enriching exchange!
